Review: Fenty Killawatt Liquid Highlighter
Product review: Would you wear the new @fentybeauty highlighter?
I hosted the Fenty drop on @supergreatapp and created this look live.
We got to try that new new. Keep reading for a pretty in depth review đź‘€
What it is: Liquid version of their powder highlighter. Comes in different shades. Delivered via squeeze tube, buildable. I’m wearing the shade Hu$tla Baby.
How it looks: This is a refined version of the glitter highlighters of glam days past. There are noticeable particles but they are finer than the old school glittery highlighters.
How it feels: Super light weight. Not a balmy or oily feel.
Who’ll love this: ♌️, performers, baddie brigade. Anyone that judges a highlighter based on how much it sparkles. People who are dedicated to a 90s lip or super glossy lips. Content creators who want a show stoppa for the innanet.
Looks great on camera. Would take your breath away I imagine at golden hour. Very pretty but not for the low key Glossier type glam.
For the type of makeup lover that wants to sparkle and maybe used to like glittery highlighter but outgrew that.
Who might struggle with this:
Dry skin, peeling skin, patchy, textured skin, people who don’t work quickly.
The product dries within seconds.
The product doesn’t have an emollient texture and could cling.
If you’re more a PMG Skin fetish highlighter, subtle/candlelight sheen highlighter who wants skin to look like you’re not wearing highlighter, you might want to sit this one out.
If you’re a Fenty fan and want it anyway, try mixing it with your foundation first.
Alternatively, you can mix it into your moisturizer or tinted moisturizer or skin tint.
