When I wanted to transition from 100% theater to add in more commercial work, I knew I had to find artists that spoke my language to help me translate all the techniques I picked up at Lincoln Center to something more believable up close.

At the time I did what any self motivated, self starter would do. I set off to Youtube University and immediately aligned with the beauty philosophy of Danessa Myricks, Lisa Eldridge, and Wayne Goss.

We are all familiar with the beauty historian, author, celeb/fashion MUA and Youtuber side of Eldridge, and now on top of all of that we are in the era of Lisa Eldridge, Beauty Boss. Building upon her 2018 DTC launch, Eldridge has her sights set on skin - makeup hybrids. She teased a blush launch back in February this Q&A.

Today WWD confirms, not only will she launch her Enlivening Blush ( $34), there’s also her Elevated Glow Highlighter ($38). Guess what! We have a date! On May 15th these products will be available on LisaEldridge.com for pre-order.

I’m personally excited to see what she does with blush. While I’m at it, I can finally pick up an iconic L.E. lippie. I’ll update you with my findings.
