The Best Concealers According To You

MUAs are constantly telling you what we love. It’s great because we get to help you and each other make purchasing decisions that save us time, and money without any of us having to try everything.

The other day while I was in Georgia I wondered, what do YOU think the best products are?

So I asked.

You told me your fave concealers and not only were people curious to know which you mentioned, but I was so excited by the list I decided to make it a blog post. There were lots of repeats so we’re focusing on the core list here.

Let’s jump right into it, cause it’s JUICY!

First up, @randomly.tash just repurchased the Rare Beauty Light Touch Brightening Concealer. Plus @miadams1 also chimed in for this one. While I’ve been loving the brand’s liquid blush, I’m late to the party on this one. When you say you’re repurchasing things, I feel like I need to investigate.

2nd on the list is the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. It intimidates a lot of people but @nicolegalemua loves the concealer and foundation. Put some respect on the Kevyn Aucoin name! Planning to use this on Instagram Live soon.

Our fave @jonetwmakeup is loving the Pat McGrath Labs Sublime Perfection Concealer (which I finally bought after seeing her use it live), Shiseido Synchro Skin (I’ve yet to try this one), and another one I love - Nars Soft Matte. We seem to go for similar textures, so I’m curious about Shiseido’s.

Smashbox Studio Skin is one I haven’t heard much about, I think I need to look into this. I’m wondering why they’re not in the conversation more often as a brand. Thanks for adding this one @thatgirl_kim__, she also mentioned it was a tie for her between that and the Elf Hydrating Came Concealer. Do not sleep on Elf!

Born This Way Multi Use Scuplting concealer. I think I have one of these but it’s in the wrong shade. This has been a favorite among pros and enthusiast alike for some time now. You know it’s real when it’s still mentioned after the initial release hype dies down. Shout out to @jocelyn_biga for always putting us on and keeping it real.

Next on the list is no stranger around these parts, it is the ELF Camo Concealer - one I've been using almost religiously for over a year now. It was mentioned by @yaaaaalodiiieeee and I could not agree more!

We have a few repeats on this list as @smita.l28 also vouched for the Shiseido Synchro Skin and Nars Soft Matte. I’m starting to think I might love the Shiseido Concealer!

Kryolan entered the chat by way of @maryaamwithay. This Kryolan palette is almost always on a set. Maryam loves the Derma Color in the cooler months. She and @glambydeepalharia also love the Nars Radiant Creamy.

I’m gonna chime in here to agree with @authorkenyanelson who mentioned the Uoma Beauty Stay Woke Concealer. It’s one I’ve tried and repurchased. Love Uoma Beauty as a brand, and have created tons of content featuring the products which lead to a very organic partnership. We love synergy!

Did you know about the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer? @stel_hyperion added it to the list and I have to say, I had never heard of it before. New to me AND a drugstore find? The gurls are curious!

Kosas Revealer Concealer is one of my day to day jams (except for when NYC is experiencing a heatwave). So I was happy to see that @melaniemcc5 is also a fan. She adds that it’s great with loose powder. I agree, love it and also love knowing that it’s infused with skin loving ingredients.

@agilesmusic came with the classics, adding Mac Pro Longwear Concealer and the Estée Lauder Double Wear - both known for their staying power. I’ve definitely tried the Mac PLC and was once a serious devotee to it.
