New Beauty Find At Target, Katie Jane Hughes x Cosmetips, PH Bronzer?, Spring Beauty

It’s been a minute!
Between trying to understand what exactly is life, Drag Race, living and working - well it’s been a lot. Mostly I’ve been feeling good and even extra optimistic.
Even on the days when I’m not feeling sparkly or like I’m thriving at all, I’ve been leaning more into deep breaths and extra gratitude.
Now along with my morning roasted dandelion tea + lemon, my new yellow Gratitude Sidekick Journal is my latest attempt at being a better person. Check back with me in a week or 2.
Beauty has always been a perfect escape for me when everything else is great and when it’s all exhausting.
I can always make my way over to something pretty and sparkly swiftly.
On Wednesday I popped in to see my new lovely friends at Studio Beauty to discover what’s new and what’s on the way in beauty.
I already LOVE the Inez lashes by LoveSeen but I was most excited about Jenna Lyon’s (founder) Featherlight collection for Target. So major! She’s such a boss and the lashes are beautiful.
Picked up the Noto body/hair/everywhere wash - the fragrance is heavy on the cedar and without a little sweetness I normally go for to balance it but my curiosity won.
It feels like something you’d find at Aesop. I’m also a sucker for aesthetics.
Have you heard about the new (sold out) Beauty Blender Bounce Magic Fit Creamy Bronzer/highlighter duo? It claims to have PH adjusting technology for a natural bronzy moment.
I went to the brand’s spring launch event and was able to try it on an impromptu Instagram Live. I’ve been doing more of those since it’s been tricky to stick to a schedule. It’s absolutely stunning. I can definitely see these getting a lot of air time as the months get warmer.
Fast forward to Katie Jane Hughes x Cosmetips collab which launches in less than 2 weeks.
It has over $700 worth of Katie’s fave products but only costs $150. These ain’t no samples either sis. Full size product!
The celebration was hosted at the most gorgeous/intimate dinner at Palma, a gem of an Italian spot downtown.
I tend to stay away from Italian since I’m no fun at them being plant based and GF, but Katie made certain there were options. I wish I was at least in 20% content creator mode because I recorded 1 single IG story and that was it.
